With empathy, partnership, and consistent action steps, we can’t wait to start completing your most important life projects together.

What is life coaching and how does it work?
Working one-on-one with a certified holistic health coach and life coach, you will have an experienced, committed partner in the mission of your goals, whether those are your next personal or career milestone, a new relationship, a side hustle, improved holistic health, or simply a more fulfilled experience of everyday life. Coaching is, in essence, a framework for problem-solving, accountability, and action that drives forward motion across many life and wellbeing goals.*
Coaching bears some similarity to therapy in that it delivers the one-on-one support and deep diving discussion around your needs and obstacles. However, it is more action and results-oriented! The goal of Geneva Coaching is to help you achieve the goal you came to us with within a finite amount of time so that you can move on to the brighter future beyond it.
In our 50-minute virtual or in-person sessions (held weekly or biweekly as fits your needs) + 7/7-day text and email support, we work to identify and enact your most transformative steps to change.
*any goal or issue that falls outside the scope of our training and experience or meets criteria for mental health disorder will receive a timely referral for the appropriate professional

About our founder and head coach, Alexandra Geneva
Bonjour! My name is Alexandra and I’m a Swiss native turned Californian with a BA from Columbia University and a Coaching Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, taught by the world’s foremost wellness experts, including Deepak Chopra and Dr. Mark Hyman MD. I’ve been coaching individuals to find their fulfillment since 2017 and find the work so rewarding that I’m now completing a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology to get licensed as a therapist.
After I left the structure of the college environment, my lack of understanding of how to pursue my ambitious goals in an effective and mentally healthy way—plus my lack of support in the process—cost me years of painful struggle and delayed dreams.
Finding the right tools and coaching support completely transformed my success in those dreams as well as my happiness in the process. This aha experience left me deeply motivated to become a coach myself and found the Geneva Life Coaching format, to save others the delays and get them straight to the happiness and fulfillment.
I love the work of specialized coaching and get incredible joy from watching my clients transform their lives while feeling more empowered and confident each week, which is why I’ve been a coach in various speciality fields for 10+ years.
Recent Testimonials
“I have been working with Alexandra for the last few months and see and feel a drastic difference in my life. I came to our first session with a lot on my chest, anxiety being still being single in my late 20s, my weight and body image esteem being low, and confusion about my career.
From the beginning, Alexandra helped me write down my goals and put a plan into action. I felt dedicated to stick to my goals because I trusted her and knew I had someone holding me accountable. Alexandra has never judged me but instead was a partner in my success.
I have made huge strides in my life since our first session and it’s because every week I’m putting in the work (with Alexandra’s help and guidance) to make a change.
I’ve lost weight, negotiated my salary, and got back to my yoga practice, which is the thing I love most. Thank you!!”
“Alexandra is extremely easy to talk to, and she has helped me tremendously in overcoming anxiety and insecurities in my life. I look forward every week for our sessions because I always leave feeling stronger and more able to tackle any issues I may be facing. I have made major progress in my life working with her, and I highly recommend working with Alexandra. ”
“Alexandra has worked with me for the last year and a half. She is an incredible listener who always has worked with me on staying consistent with my evolving goals. From helping me with consistent goals around fitness, to making better health choices, to the emotional effects of PCOS, she has helped me have a better grasp on what consistent and attainable goal setting looks like. I have grown a lot as a person in the time she has helped coach me. She asks thought provoking questions and offers insightful suggestions that have made conquering these challenges of life less daunting and more in-reach. In addition, she offers sound suggestions and tools to better navigate relationships and dating in this modern world. I would highly recommend Alexandra to anyone in their 20s to 30s looking for support during these forming years of adulthood. ”
“We know coaches are necessary in sports but we don’t think about how much we need them in life. Sometimes we even just need a motivating witness to our efforts. Alexandra gave me that and much more. She is knowledgeable and strategic about your goals and how to get there. I had issues around stress at work and lacking social life and joy and Alexandra guided me to the right tools and action steps. At the end of our work together, the lifestyle habits and perspective changes we put into place helped me feel so much stronger and calmer in the face of challenges at work that were making my life so stressful. And I now actually have a fulfilling life outside work to balance me out. As soon as I have another project to conquer, I’ll be calling Alexandra again, no question ”
“I had been searching for a positive and healthy way to lose weight and most importantly to keep off the lost weight, while still loving my life and feeling happy. Alexandra was the secret to my success.
Recipes....patience,
acceptance....creativity and humor... Alexandra had everything that I was looking for as a long term coach!! Seriously, I could not have gotten this healthy without her!”
“Alexandra has put me in the driver seat of my own life. When I first met Alexandra, I was avoidant, complacent and overwhelmed by the very word “career.” Through our work over the past year, I have become proactive and have learned to tackle things head-on. 99 percent of me knows that recommending Alexandra is an absolute no-brainer, while one percent of me selfishly wants to keep her all to myself. ”
“I have been working with Alexandra for about 6 months now. I am in my early 30s and have had career success as a mental health professional but I have moved around a lot in recent years and struggle socially. I debated finding my own therapist but instead opted to work with Alexandra upon recommendation since many of my goals were focused on improving my social life and relationships. I am extremely glad that I chose this route. As a therapist myself, I can attest that Alexandra has a firm grasp on the underlying psychological/emotional component to the work she does. However, compared to a traditional therapist, Alexandra understands my goals and keeps the sessions very solution oriented with a list of commitments each week striving to make progress in these areas. She is a great listener and adds value with her feedback and suggestions. She is also like Yoda when it comes with her approach with dating and how to use dating apps, something I am still getting used to but improving with her guidance and suggestions. The best part about working with Alexandra is that she is extremely communicative. She is always quick to respond to my texts, putting a lot of thought into her responses, and even tries to occasionally have unplanned phone calls when something occurs. It is very obvious that Alexandra truly cares about the journey of her clients, and to me, that is the most valuable quality that anyone working in the helping profession can add.

“I have been seeing Alexandra for over a year and I can honestly say I have never been happier. I have seen a handful of therapists throughout my life, and Alexandra is the only person who has been able to transform my life and shift my thinking. She is smart, genuine and caring, and works hard to understand what my issues are without judgement. She has helped me become a more confident, independent, and secure person and I am forever grateful for her advice and wisdom. I look forward to our weekly sessions. I cannot recommend her enough! ”
“THANK YOU, this is the first time in literally like 8 years that I have felt actually hopeful about losing weight and the FIRST thing that has actually worked. I have loved working with you and it’s totally helped me shift my relationship with food and alcohol and my habits. I’m excited to go it on my own (which at first I was scared because I was kind of just doing it for approval from you), but now I’m doing it for me and also feeling hopeful for our check in because I know I can meet my goal. You da best. ”
“I am feeling so much fitter, more stable and able to handle the crappier things in life and so much more confident in myself thanks to this challenge we set and to you! And our text thread to celebrate it, lol”
“Before I finally reached out for support, I had been dealing for years with a lot of fear and noise in my head that kept me from taking action towards the life I really wanted. I was scared of remaining single, scared of not rising in my career, and generally scared that life could pass me by yet letting myself be “too busy” to do anything about it.
It was really amazing to me how having a time and place every week to unpack all the noise with someone caring and SO helpful made everything so much more straightforward and doable. Every week Alexandra and I moved forward and it not only helped me work towards my goals but took away the anxiety of all the unorganized fears.”
